Sound Attenuator (SA)

A Silencer was tested in accordance with the standard listed below and was found to perform
in a manner appropriate to the dictates of the standard.

STANDARD

1. ASTM Standard E477-13, entitled “Standard Test Method for Laboratory Measurements of
Acoustical and Airflow Performance of Duct Liner Materials and Prefabricated Silencers”

SCOPE OF TESTING

The silencer was tested for the following performance characteristics: 
"Reference Intertek Report Number 104284248CRT-003a dated April 1, 2020”           

A) Insertion Loss With and Without Airflow 
B) Airflow Generated Sound
C) Air Velocity Versus Static Pressure
